Hey everyone,

guess what's coming next week? :). After no less than 5 months of work, Messenger Plus! 3.50 is finally going to be released. Everything has been tested for a whole month, hundreds of new lines of text have been translated, the brand new sound server is on stand-by, the only thing missing is you, the users :gfdrin:.

Messenger Plus! 3.50 will officially be released this Wednesday (16/03/2005), at 11:00PM UPT (Universal Patchou's Time). And for those of you who think they already know what they'll get on Wednesday, be prepared fora little surprise... Messenger Plus! 3.50 is a major milestone and you can be sure that the promotion surrounding the event will match the expected excitement (and for the info, not even the beta testers know what I'm talking about).

I hope you'll all enjoy the changes! some of the new stuff is for MSN Messenger 7 only so you can expect some extra free fun when you'll get the new version of Messenger next month.

I just e-mailed Patchou with a problem (that could cause some problems) with 3.50. I hope it doesn't slow down the release of 3.50...

4 days until then from here (mexico) I wonder, what version of msn we have to have installed for full features?? the last one? even if it it "is only for beta testers" (every body has it)

I'dont know becouse of the fact than version 7.0.0425 doesn't have some features like in the 7.0.0604 version, for example the avatars in the contact list..so it can be a diferrence!

Yes, I can confirm that. Messenger Plus! 3.50 is also supposed to be ready for the final release of MSN Messenger 7 (as long as Microsoft doesn't change anything radical in it, worstcase scenario will be the release of version 3.51 a day after the release of Messenger 7 final).

I just cant wait for it!! The incompability of 3.40 with 7.0.06xx made me downgrade to 7.0.0425!! And I just love 7.0.06xx that's what I call a MSN Messenger!! :P But MSN Messenger is nothing without Messenger Plus! and I preferred to downgrade to lost its functions!! I just LoVe your Work Patchou!! I just don't understand why did you take so long?? But the important it's that 4 AM GMT (I'm FROM Portugal) it will be avaible for Download!!:D

Yes, Its a great release, I can tell you that.  Beta testing it was funny with how many errors I discovered in the first beta though :), And one error I caused myself (accidently disabling audio in Windows somehow :S).  Anyway, it releases at 10PM my time, so ill prolly just get it before I go to sleep and I wont be able to sleep unless I see what the promotion is.

i was waiting so long for a full compitabel msgplus for msn messenger 7.0.0604 and later 7.0.0632 and now i cant do shortcuts only see colours in names but now :D:D:D:D it's full compitabel with shortcuts!!!! :D:D:D

The sponsor is optional, so you shouldn't worry if you don't plan to install it. Also, it's not spyware, it's adware and it's 100% safe.

There are a lot of beta testers for now. *-)

Patchou (and other users that help him pick new beta testers) has/have to trust you, and you have to know how to report problems. You also have to be an active member of the community. You can't just register and expect to be a beta tester in a few days.

Patchou, please make a BIG link on home of page to download the plus3.50, or it will be "hide" on the page cause... it is a plugin for a MSN beta(yet)?? 3.40 is "hide" =/...

I think he ment "promotion" as in " the publicity surrounding the event", because everyone is waiting for this new version.
