Me and several of my friends have all recently installed the new version of Plus! and since doing so have found our computers and net connections going incredibly slow. Hope it's not a plus! problem but it's the only thing we've all recently installed. Anyone else got similar problems and any ideas?

You may have installed the optional sponsor program when you installed MsgPlus!. Please read this thread for instructions on how to uninstall it.

Well, just Uninstall MsgPlus! and see if that helps at all.

Hmm, well it helped for 3 people who tried.. I haven't personally but I will now. So I presume your not getting problems then?

could you possible post the amount of memory usage msgplus.exe is using by pressing ctrl+alt+del then the process tab.

Erm... i coulda.. but just uninstalled :P I was looking before and it was way higher than it should be. Around 15,000K

Maybe youve got a corrupted file, where did u get Msg plus? i dont have that amount of cpu Usage by Msg Plus, you need to download of a trusted site, that happened to me a while ago with Msn messenger.. sometimes Msn was Using about 30 mb or something, then i downloaded from a trusted site and everything was fine :) maybe thats your problem
