Today I installed the lastest beta version of MSN, since that my quick icon panel is empty.

Only standard emoticons are present, all my custom emoticons are missing.

Version :

Messenger plus : 3.50.124
MSN : 7.0.0732
Windows : XP Home Edition SP1

I'm afraid that if they're gone they're gone, and you may have to manually re-add them yourself, in the future though, you should go to mess.be...

On there you can get Custom Emoticon Exporters... so that they're all in a folder, then you can get a mass emoticon adder...

Which version did you upgrade from?

I too have noticed earlier today that my custom emoticons no longer show up in the QuickIcons panel after upgrading to the latest MSN Messenger 7 version.
Someone mentioned an emoticon adder, but that wouldn't be the fix, as the emoticons are still in Messenger, just gone from the QuickIcons panel.
Also, I cannot add them manually to the QuickIcon panel, seems there is no option for that working.
Well at least I'm not the only one experiencing this problem, lol.

My old version was MSN 7.0.0425.

Emoticons are missing in quick icon panel, but not in MSN.

i dont like the quick pannel, it doesnt show animated emoticons,

the pin function of msn its better, you can add a lot of emoticons to the pannel too

Even stranger:

When running this version I can't switch to "Page" 2 or 3... It stays at page 1.... strange!

I'm with the same trouble....
Someone have a solution??

People forget also. that if there using leaked Versions We here in the forums cant help those that are using Leaked versions unless there the official Public Versions

I'll check that out, thanks for reporting.

Edit: I justchecked it out and the emoticons are showing properly for me (I have Messenger 7.0.732 too). I suspect thisis due tothe fact that Messenger 7 Beta stores its data files in "Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger (BETA)" instead of "Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger". If that's the case, then just wait for the final releae of Messenger 7 and everything will be back to normal . When Messenger 7 is finally released, post a new thread if the custom emoticons still don't show up.

My emoticons are stored in "Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger".

The problem appear after the first new emoticon added.

I think the format of index file has been changed.

For example in 7.0.732 we can't copy a emoticon bought , but it's possible with 7.0.425.

when i installed it all my emotions stayed wow im glad they did cause i have millions and i would never be able to reinstall em but if you go to sherv.net it has an emotion installer and you can add up to a 100 amotions at a time hope ive helped

Same here. I used 732 with plus3.5 for a while without problems, but when I added the yellow emoticons from CustoMess, this error occur. Believe it or not, I reinstall both plus and msn so many times. O_o

I had this problem and I think i know the answer. If u use the (namemofcustomemote) it will appear in the quick panel. Although it only shows the most recently used emoticons

I have a similar problem but is worst... I can either enter to the quick icons config panel... cause my msn crash and close it automatically... I don't know why... I am running the same version of messenger and stuffplug 2.1.243 and another pluggins... I had patched my msn messenger with the messpatch for this one... some one can help me???

The problem is the same with MSN 7.0.0777.

No patch applied, and got same results.

deleted and added them all again. ie. deleted the custom emoticons folder from the local settings folders..... no progress

I have the same problem (I took the new final 7 version of MSN Messenger, the problem is still here).

Does anyone know if a new Plus! version will be soon released to fix this bug ?

I installed the new version of msn 7 (not beta) and when I make the bracket to have all let us smiley them)  does not function... I would like to know
