I think maybe your clock battery inside your computer has ran out do you get any problems at starting? like any errors?

RE: Computer Clock by Rubber Stamp on 03-24-2005 at 11:15 AM

nope, no probs while starting

Have you tried going into your BIOS at startup and setting the clock there?

RE: Computer Clock by Rubber Stamp on 03-24-2005 at 11:24 AM

yup, no use

I'm not 100% sure if this will help, but it is good at picking up these kind of problems. Hopefully it will, go to www.sisoftware.demon.co.uk/sandra and download SANDRA software and run a full scan with it. Please list any problems that are shown and post them here

it does sound like the batterry has just run out. you may just need to replace it, but ask around before you buy a new one...it might just be some bizarre bug

Just do a proformence tune up (it's on the top row when you start it's the 6th icon from the left).
Part of this check is that it does check your motherboard when you run it. Also click on "Mainboard Infomation" and list any problems there. Problems have a [Image: attachment.php?pid=419067] next to it.
