in the new Messenger Plus u can add and also make ur own sounds.....is there anyway to make the sounds longer then the standered 10 seconds? The good quility option offers less time then 10 secs...i was just wondering if there was a way around that.

No, there is no way to lengthen the sound...it's fixed. 
If it gets too long, it'd be "Music sharing", not "Emoticon sound"

It's a good job that the standard length is 10 seconds as i would personally get pretty pissed off if someone kept sending me, for example 20 second sound clips, it would get even more annoying if i was listening to music. I think a lot of other people would feel the same and thus the reason the standard length is 10 seconds

Also, people with slower connections wouldn't appreciate large sized music being uploaded to them....
