i'd like to know if a xanga owner is able to trace IP addresses of his visitors. (for example admin cp or sumthing similar it)

i don't have a xanga account and i don't wantto register one, only to check this out!

you should check out the xanga site, and read their "privacy policy"

"Every time you visit a page on the Internet, your web browser sends specific information to the web site you are visiting. Xanga's server logs automatically collect and store this information from your web browser, including your IP address, specific type of browser software, Xanga-related cookies (see below), and the pages you visit at Xanga."

If you want to use a blogging service, i highlighy suggest blogger.com and msn spaces over xanga. I find them more flexable and easier to work with, as well as less annoying and buggy. my two cents.
