Nope.  At the time I was just writing an email and then it wasnt working so I refreshed and got that message.  Never heard of Gmail Drive.

Then just contact them at that email address they put. It might be some sort of mistake from their side.

Hello,

Our system has detected unusual usage of your Gmail account. For your
protection, we have temporarily disabled all access to your account.

If you suspect that the unusual usage of your account has been caused by
a
third party, we recommend that you change your password and secret
question once you are able to log back in to Gmail. You should be able
to
access your account again within 24 hours.

If you are using any software that automatically logs in to your account,
or automatically sends and receives messages, we ask that you disable
the
software before accessing Gmail again. Please note that the use of such
third-party software is not supported by Gmail.

Sincerely,

The Gmail Team

true .. iv'e never seen this error before.. nor do i refresh once im in a free email web based service

RE: Dodgy Gmail Error! by user27089 on 04-02-2005 at 09:21 AM

Demz, it isn't a problem with the refreshing of the service, if you look above where you receive your emails, there is a link that says 'refresh' so that you refresh, this is just a basic refresh script and does the same as what it would you if you press F5 or the refresh button (w/e)...

I don't see why they have sent that email, are you sure it isn't just an april fool's by somebody or something, have you tried using gmail?!... I can't see why they would send that, unless somebody with a dodgy IP or proxy tried to access your gmail :s... I don't know, I didn't think that gmail systems would be that smart to do so... I only know of paypal doing that :).
