can not go to irc chat by damc on 04-03-2005 at 02:53 AM
I cannot go to irc chat. it says this:
Connecting. . .
Unable to connect : java.net.NoRouteToHostException : Opration timed out

Try to ping irc.msgplus.net
Other then that it sounds like a network problem, I was able to get right on.

No Route to host means that either
1. Our Datacenter (EV1 Servers) is blocking your ISP and/or IP
2. One of the routes along the way (Verio, Cogent, Above.Net, etc) is blocking your ISP and/or IP
3. Your ISP is blocking our server or one of the routers to our server.
If the problem persists, you can try calling your ISP and providing them with a traceroute and asking them if it is blocking any of the IPs in that traceroute.
