Hi all, RE: Can you use windows Messenger features with MSN Messenger? by Anubis on 04-03-2005 at 05:07 PM
No, you need Windows Messenger on your PC to be able to do Remote Assistance, because it uses the same APIs. However you can disable Windows Messenger so that it will not be able to start up, or annoyingly have the habit of signing you on at Windows sign up in the background with no noticeable icon or anything, then it is like Windows Messenger doesn't exist, but you can still use the features of it (like remote assistance). quote:You are not referring to MSN Plus, you are referring to Messenger Plus! created by Patchou.
