Msn Messenger 7 has been officially released, and can be downloaded from their webpage.

well when you open messenger.msn.com the title bar says MSN Messenger 7.0

if u take off the messenger part then it redirects u to msn messengers offical site.

Yeah, I've downloaded it already... but I'm gonna wait until A-Patch is compatible before I install it

anyone who is good at asm and is willing to assist me in writing a tut on how to bypass the file transfer block
please pm me with your msn addy

i have patched everything in msn, including polygamy (thanks to segosa for the wonderful tut, know it by heart after using for all the betas ) and this is the only one left. I will release a tut once i figure out how to go about it.
Any other form of assistance would be appreciated too.

Works fine here. Can't get the WMP thing working though.

EDIT: In fact, just turned the WMP plugin on and it works.

mine works fine, but WMP thing still doesn't work for me.

strange but the new "welcome to messenger" window NEVER opened for me at all... or the msn today

i got the official release build 0777 installed i haven't yet encountered any problems as yet though. anybody know when mess patch will be launched for this official version? yo TB how long before the new stuffplug is rteleased? anyways i am just going to reboot as i haven';t done so since installing 0777 and haven't yet seen this welcome to messenger screen yet.

thanks whoever it was that suggested a-patch it has been updated to version 1.09 to included support for 7.0.0777 this will do for now aqs a temporary fix until mess patch is released thank you. i opened the welcome to messenger from the help menu of the main contact window but i thought it was supposed to open the first you use the new version so i am really confused as to why it didnt.

This version works fine, I just feel a bit cheated of mentioned features. Things like WMP controls in MSN or an Xbox Live friends list
Just seemed a bit hyped-up is all. This is essentially a second edition of 732 with a tiny bit of a polish. Shame.

I tried everything to make msn 7 work.. restarting, reinstalling from scratch, changing user accounts, disable firewall,window blinds..  5 seconds after loging in it freezes on me!

Ok if this doesnt work for me? where can i get a previous version? any link? because messenger.msn.com has the beta version no more..

My msn messenger 7 is working fine...
you can always use Windows Messenger

thats what im using! i know yours are working fine! but mine isn't!

did you try download again? or in another language?

does it break when trying to load the Welcome to messenger window?
you may need to reinstall/update your flash software
