I've got Stuffplug-NG the latest version, and im using the official release of msn 7.0777 and im also using the latest msn !plus. My contacts still using msn 6.2 can see my pic big but contacts using msn 7 can't. Even contacts with stuffplug can't see it big and yet i can see theres. Why is this? and can any1 help?  and is there a way to fix this?

add a new display picture
and then the resize window should appear

then set your size.

click ok, and everything should be fine :)

thx, but ive tried that alreddy, and ive tried other piks, and sumtimes it dusnt let me add the pics.

Any1 else?

The latest version is 2.1.243
I don't think that matters except for bug fixes.

You need SPNG 2 anyways for MSNM 7

No.

Just make sure your contacts who are using MSNM 7 have SPNG 2, and they enable the oversized dp feature.

Other than that, we cannot help.

this might not be the reason but make sure that they didn't in the conversation window (on the right side under the dp) change the pic size to small.. :-/

this actually happened with one of my contacts so it could be the problem.

yep, they NEED the option enabled ;)

Edit: if you were to check by disabling it/ enabling it and DON'T sign out.. there will be no change (untill you sign out) :P

just saying this incase sombody would or has checked that way :wink:

i am a stuffplug + stuffplug ng better tester and moderator on the forum :D

only you need to have the option your end.

this is how the feature works.

  1. you go to change your display picture
  2. you browse for a image, once found, you select this image
  3. Stuffplug intervines msn messenger trying to resize the display picture, and cuts a step.
  4. the display picture is sent to your contact via protocol
  5. contact displays image (whatever size it is)
    [/list]

    and your contact sees a non 96x96 display picture :)

Well, that's weird.
I don't have that feature enabled, coz it'll just clutter the contact card up.
They still have big DPs.

okay well i've told most contacts to get SPNG, nad yes it works fine... thx alot for tha help. The only problem now is the "The following message was not recieved by the following recipitents:" Thats really annoying... but thanx!!:):):)

But in MSN Messenger 7 the recieving client resizes the image also...
