[RESOLVED] CPU go 99% when trying to change Background Image on Discussion Windows by ziad270 on 04-12-2005 at 12:51 PM

- WindowsXP SP2 all upgrade (Fr)
- MSN Messenger 7.0.0777
- Messenger Plus! 3.51.128

Edit (cf shezi_ali):

PIV M 1,80Ghz

I tried again..same problem..this time i was able to click on 2 images before cpu raise - Ram do not move
I gonna try on a virtual PC

Tried before installing MSN Messenger Plus  -> OK.
I changed the default background.

I installed MSN messenger plus. It removed my default background.
I tried to change it 3 times...and the 3 times, the CPU goes 99% and MSN goes not responding as soon as i clicked on more (plus in french) (stuck on the Windows: My Backgrounds). I had to end the process.

Seems to be a bug....

I uninstalled MSN Messenger Plus.
Same PB...Sorry... It seems not to be Messenger Plus.

For information...looking further...the problem occur only when i clic on one of my personnal images in the background Images list (kind of MRU)...something must be wrong with them...

My mistake (cause it occured as soon after i installed Msn Messenger Plus!  Bad coincidence...)

Sorry again :$
