I was trying to download the .net framework from there site and OMG the download is 3.0kb per sec. what the hell is happening? is it because of the XP SP2 thing? lol

Are you sure it has nothing to do with you're internet connection?!
Try disconnecting and reconnecting then restart the dwl.

I've noticed the last few days the Microsoft Update page is mega slow.. must be having problems their end.. very annoying!
