Everytime I click on the link I get "the page cannot be displayed". Does anybody know why this is? RE: Website problem by .Roy on 04-18-2005 at 04:20 PM
what browser are you using?? RE: Website problem by Tourist on 04-18-2005 at 04:21 PM
Use Mozilla Firefox RE: Website problem by Concord Dawn on 04-18-2005 at 04:37 PM It might be something in your HOSTS file, can you please PM me a copy of it so that I can check it over for you? Your HOSTS file is located in C:\Windows\Drivers\Backup\etc\ and is called hosts (no extension). RE: Website problem by rpjenner on 04-19-2005 at 01:14 PM When using Firefox a box came up saying "the connection was refused" or something along those lines. However, removing the www. from the address on both IE and Firefox did the trick. So thank you for your help . RE: Website problem by RaceProUK on 04-19-2005 at 01:20 PM You may want to check your HOSTS file anyway, as that's probably blocking the www version. In the "HOSTS" file, this can be found C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/ then open the "HOSTS" file in notepad, and get rid of everything apart from the following: code: RE: Website problem by upside_down on 04-19-2005 at 04:26 PM
