after opening about 3-4 conversation windows, the cursor goes under the toolbar. the text however still appears to the right of the toolbar...
what it does is... look crazy!

are you using any other plugin such as Smiley Central? Also, can you tell me what version of Windows you are using?

umm... SP-NG 2.2 or whatevers the latest... and Win 98SE

please note that from that screenshot it is obvious that adityam is using a skin. perhaps whatever skin he is using is causing the problem. just a thought.

its not a skin... its the default msn messenger 7.0.0777 look...

You should answer Patchou's question first.
He is wondering if you are using any other programs for Msn Messenger. Such as Smiley Central.
If so then try uninstalling those.

Thanks for the answer... did you try disabling SPNG? also, is this problem happening all the time in the same chat or does it solve by itself after some time?

i didn't try and disable SPNG cuz i'm kinda in love with the Chat-Only Name feature...
And it doesn't solve itself after some time... all the conversation windows opened afterwards have the same problem...
I'll get back to you with SPNG disabled... Thanks for the time being!

so far so good... messenger running fantastic with SPNG disabled...

In that case it probobly is SPNG. Or it is taking to much Ram.
Anyhow I suggest you try to reinstall SPNG and maybe the problem will be fixed and you can use SPNG at the same time
