It seems like Norton tries to compete Microsoft in anti-spyware program.
The final version is expected to be released in May and will cost $79.95 (for an antispyware? :-/)

Anyone up to download the public beta and check if it falsely detects Plus! like dodgy Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta does?

Norton Internet Security™ 2005 AntiSpyware Edition
More info

Edit:
The beta version should be expired on June 1st.

It's not anti-spyware only!
It's Norton Internet Security™ 2005 AntiSpyware Edition...

And I saw it in the news section of tweakers.net and a lot of people don't like it. It's not free and it takes loooooooots of resources (as Norton usually does :dodgy:).

Just use Microsoft AntiSpyware or if you want to be really secure, try Hitman Pro. It's in Dutch, but I think an English version will be released soon. Hitman Pro combines the engines of multiple programs to create one powerful spyware cleaner. Current engines:
Ad-Aware SE
Spy Sweeper 3
Spybot Search & Destroy 1.3
CWShredder 2.14
SpywareBlaster 3.3
Spyware Block List
Sysclean Package
SuperDAT VirusScan

Of course it's free. Otherwise I wouldn't have posted it . And all the 'engines' it uses are free. (y)
