Is there any way to extend the length of your name in MSN 7, if not should Patchou try and incorprate it into his next patch, as i loved having the longer names.

This would be a stupid feature, as it would have limits anyway...
plus, it would mean patching msn messenger, and messenger plus! does not patch msn messenger at all, as patching is illegal and Patchou, the creator of Messenger Plus!, likes to stear clear of anything illegal... It won't happen I'm afraid...

Not even patching MSN Messenger can do it.
Its a server side limit, so only Microsoft can change the name length

Names are long enough as they are if not too long.
You don't need to tell a story in your name.

The protocol limits nicknames to 129 characters, which is plenty long enough for now.

Yeah i agree that 129 is enough, would you really want to chat with someone with a name that takes up half the chat window anyways?
