The new look is finally finished @ MPSounds.net.

finally released!

I dont like the white to gray style. Just make those boxes one color. Maybe the background for them is white and the text and boxes black?

I really dispise the gray
And its really streched maybe make it smaller like 800*600 or something. And center it. So its not so streched.

I liked the old one better

It was more simple.
Maybe have an option for 2 versions?

Make the left edge of the boxes darker and the right edge a little lighter so it is a more suttle gradient...

...and please remove the cyan from the textboxes, go with something easier on the eyes

Both Dempsey and LeeJeffery worked on a style, i was there advising Dempsey on his

So you can say uhmmm 3 people (4 actually) made it together and ofcourse credits go to Cookie too for making the logo (yes, he did edit the original one).

Lee Jeffery make a design to start with, but Ive done all the work of converting all the old site files over to the new design

What are you on about? Everything that needs to be centered is centered. And the site doesn't depend on a screenresolution at all (although the minimum width is something like 690px) and nothing is "stretched"...

maybe, although the current gradient is very good as it is; it uses the same gray values as in other places on the site (continuity).

dunno, but the cyan color is easy on the eyes, and it is a nice touch of color on the grayscale theme.

The site is looking very good (and that includes the use of the color boxes, shading, sizing, etc. etc.) (Y)

Although it would be nice to also have the left and right menu boxes from the main page visible in the other subpages for quick navigation.

And when you go to an actual download page of a soundpack the page is squeezed together (see sshot); there is html code before the <HTML> tag which screws things up...

I did think about doing that but i thought it might be a bit crowded then? I could do it, or maybe have it as an option in user cp or something like that?

May i add that the cyan is in the boxes for consistency with the logo (and ofcourse to avoid more grey) :chrongue:
