I can confirm that this is a REAL copy from Microsoft Corp., Not officially released yet though.  I should also note that the build is 814, not 813.

I was courious about this build so i checked out the leak (now mentioned on mess.be when i just visited it) its installer is offical like the proper builds and i canceled installation. I conclude 7.0.0813 is real but is unlike the prank the fake 7.0.0814 build earlier this month that version did not have a not normal installation compared to the normal microsoft practices. You would need to wait till 7.0.0813 comes out as its not released offically by microsoft although mess.be now claiming its leaked.

microsoft say this is to be released as a "patch"... instead of an entire installation package 8mb download of messenger7...

This is an official release of Microsoft... but i like the idea of the patch upgrade from 0777 - 0813 especially for dial up users because they won't have to download the 7 mb file. I find this version much faster than 0777 but we have to wait for skins and some patches (not including A-patch) .

guarantee it is 100% real, this guy on my list had it like last week but wouldnt give it to me

It is infact MSN Messenger 7.0.0813 as in the thread title.

I've heard so much different stuff, what version is this patch that's coming out?

The facts:

0803 is a speciel build only released to selected UK Beta testers
0813 is the QFE Patch, that is currently being tested by all beta testers (except the selected UK's)
0814 is the "MSN Butterfly Effect" build made by Volv and Ahmad, not from Microsoft

814 was fake,
813 is the patch that MSNBlog is talking about (and which I can assure you of is real )
803 is something mess.be supposedly has (and they have screenshots of it too)...

Yes, I must note this point strongly, if you had the "MSN Butterfly Effect" version, it will show 7.0.814 when you patch still.  Uninstall that build before upgrading

That link only displays the MSN Messenger 7 813 Beta patch, not the final version.

but mobile messaging works in 777, so its nothing new in 803?

813 actually fixes some bug. I can now type Thai properly. Mainly, 813 is more stable.

will the next Build be 7.0.0813 or 7.0803?  i see 2 of them on Mess.be  so why get 813,
