Since there are some portuguese users around here, i decided to post this ..

All the Sapo Adsl (with 512 Kbits/s download) and Netcabo (640 Kbits/s download) clients will have theirs connection speeds upgraded to 2 Mb Download(as for uploads nothing as been stated by PT yet...)...Plus all the Sapo Adsl Clients (with 1 mbit/s download) will have their download speed upgraded to 4 mbits/s :P...No extra charge will be aplied and all of this will be made at the 19th of may :)

One thing, i read the source and NetCabo (my ISP) doesnt appear on it, just PT, where is the NetCabo part?

PT and Netcabo and all the companies of the group of PT  are CRAP.
Clix is providing internet up to 16 Mbits/s for 83  €.

I hope PT Burns in hell. I have Netvisao and they are going to upgrade to 8Mbits/s :refuck: but i think its for those who are using 2 mbits connecitons.

And lol? there are some portuguese here but there are hundred of different users of diferent countries in the world  and you cant post about each one of them..loly :P

Netcabo is part of PT :)...

Clix provides 16 Mbits/s...clix was dodgy in 64Kb 'cause it was allways blocking sites and w/e...and it will still be dodgy...i was about to change to clix when i heard these news and when i also heard clix internet is dodgy...so i maintained my Sapo ADSL...

Netvisao (or cabovisao) are doing the same as PT...they are 4x all the connections...so...its the same thing...:dodgy:

I hate companies that use their dominant postion ( PT had a big monopoly) to abuse the consumers ( making them pay a 15€ fee monthly just to have the phone available and they were the only phone company available ) and when they were renting their lines to the other ISPs ( PT is  ISP also ) they were making abusive prices so that companies couldnt support the prices PT made and had to stop providing internet services.

Now that same companies have built their lines and are becoming stronger and stronger, they are providing internet and phone ( free of that stupid monthly fee ) and PT will get what it asked for.

there were ALLWAYS alternatives...you didnt search for them..:S...and nowadays if you don't want to don't pay...pt will have their monopoly at the same...owning Netcabo, Sapo, and other major companys..
