Is there a patch/msg plus plugin that can do this?
I had one for the beta version before the official release but can't seem to find one.

You can just use the Mess Patch (Look at mess.be):
If you're using the off. Final version of MSN Messenger 7 (Build 7.0.0777): http://www.mess.be/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=download&id=621
If you're using Winamp for the "What I'm listening to'-Feature (or if you would like to), I suggest you to use MessengerAmp: http://silicon.xs4all.nl/index/msgramp

It depends on the build, there is the Mess patch for 7.0.0813 which has the Swap Artist and title, i think that in the other mess patch versions this was buggy. However in the 813 build they added another plugin for winamp that swaps the artist and title.
If you are using 7.0.0777 then forget everything I said and look at Screeny's post.

Many thanks Screeny, I am using MSN Messenger 7 (Build 7.0.0777) with Winamp, and MessengerAmp worked a treat.

Shame Ahmz Patch (A-Patch) doesn't include this feature as the mess patch and a-patch are not compatible with each other
