Nothing happens when i double click on the program icon.
When i open with the notepad.EXE to see the log, this is what i get.µ

Which add-on are you talking about?

Did you download the correct files from a trusted site? This may/not be compatable with MSN 7.0.0777

I'm not running the .777 msn messenger version.
I'm still using the beta .604. Please do not tell me that the beta is the issue. It has worked fine.
The add-on name is msn_enhance. A very small and simple exe patch.
Does not even put entries in the registry.

well update it to the latest version msn messenger 7.0.0777

You did not understand me at all.
Having 7.0.0.777 did not help. Even though, i should be able to OPEN the program interface. At least to see the program opened. Then if i try to patch the wrong version, i will have an error message.
I guess you have 7.0.0.777, but you can still OPEN, when double clicking the program i have attached.
So the version is not the problem, as it has always worked fine. I have other add-on's working fine with the same version.

A simple google search

:- did you follow the installtion correctly?

- Close and exit MSN
- If it's not working copy msn_enhance into your MSN Directory  where msnmsgr.exe is located then retry.
If its still not working try to reintall or to repair your msn

You should also update to the latest MSN as running older versions can cause problems as some patches are designed for MSN 7 due to a change

With this patch you can:
- Disable 400-Character Instant Message Limit
- Disable "User-Typing" Notifications

Why don't you try a different patch which does the same as this? I believe Plus disables character limit and user-typing can be removed by A-Patch
