5 minute XBox 360 info session

(It has a virtual tour of the different aspects of the 360).

Also: It will be able to play DVDs out of the box (no kit this time ), have a 20GB HDD out of the box, have a media center remote out of the box (which you can wirelessly switch the 360 on with), Will have a wireless controller out of the box, ALL games will be LIVE ready, ALL games with be HD ready, etc.

I'm not too keen on the name either, xenon sounded much better... But have you seen the GUI of the main menu and stuff, it's amazing, it's going to be soooooo good it's untold!!! I love the idea of the wireless controllers

Now i've got an xbox, but im not xbox addicted

Anyway today he was showing me the site with all the features...

The only thing that really grabbed my attention was the wireless controls :undecided:

The thing that got MY eye was, that it comes with Xbox live, the look, wireless controllers......im sure there was more, but it's still amazing.....

eww the design is horrible. but the power is so amazing i doubt that will stop people, and after reading the thread it seems everyone else loves the design mabye im just crazy. the interface looks great this is so better than the alternative but you still get people who say the playstation is better. Crazy people.

It's friggen amazing, a lot better than the sad excuse that was Xbox.

I know, I can't see why people do this thing... my mate's mate bought a PS2 from America, and he had to wait for like 6 months to get any new games :lol: ...

And would be a very nice way to get revenge on Sony for what they did to me and all the other Europeans and/or people that get an extremely bad consumer support in America.

Now i just need to know the price, i discovered it will have Live Silver which will not require subscription W00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000T!

I first need to think about it coz these have been months of suffering and worship to the PSP i cant just say no more PSP.. i need to come back to earth.

And BTW you cant be so sure Xbox will be released in Europe only in 2006?

i cant wTCJH IT...the five minute htinger wont work when i open it all i make it to is hallfway when spider runs away and then the picture liek freezes and the audio still goes on and ive lisened to it al but couldnt see anything

No, Bungie said Halo 3 wasn't going to be there NEXT game. There will be a Halo 3 FOR SURE (The story was not finished in Halo 2.)

Uh - how the hell? They don't just remove features of an OS for no reason

I doubt it does.

Anyways - ya it will likely be out in Australia in mid 2006, but they didn't go with a bigger HDD so they could save some cash. It IS upgradeable, though, and the bigger HDD will likely include DVR support.

Bungie said that Halo3 is definatly on the tables, but it wont be their next project. They will do somthing else and then halo 3.

On the note of the box i think X2 would have been a much better name.. (P.S Nintendo Revolutions isnt a great name either, reminds me of the matrix)

That's what I first thought when I herd it was going to be called Xbox 360. The 3 in it makes it sound like its at the same level as the PS3, as saralk said.

That's the whole reason behind it. They didn't want to go with "Xbox 2" bcz that sounds like it's 1 behind "PS3". It's a subliminal marketing gimick.

Or maybe both companies should drop "Xbox" AND "Playstation" and come up with better names which would represent REAL change :dodgy:
