I hope someone can help. I have searched the forums but can't find my answer.

When my status is online, my notifications and sounds work fine. When my status is "busy" I get a sound, but no pop-up notifications.

I have the "display notifications even when status is set to busy" option enabled, so I am stumped.

Can anyone help?

Make sure the box above it is ticked too.

Enable Messenger Plus! notification windows

In the main MSN options go to Personal and see if the box 'Show me as Busy and block my alerts...' is that ticked?

I will try that.. the first suggestion was already enabled and it still didn't work.

well that didn't work either - forgot to mention I do get notifications when users go offline, just no sign-in pop-up.

Do you have anything else running with MSN Messenger? Other patches/plug ins?

Other than msg plus, I have another plug-in that is currently disabled, I will try to remove it and see if that helps.

Thanks for your suggestions... hopefully at some point we'll figure it out.

it's called moody - I don't like it so I wanted it removed anyway.

Have you tried reinsatlling messenger plus! and MSN Messenger?

Nope you won't lose the winks as their stored with your passport information on you computer

No, don't worry about them. They are stored in a separate folder in application data.

Well no luck - same behaviour - when I am busy, the only notification I get is when someone goes offline (sound and pop-up fine) - now I don't even get sound when someone signs in... is this a bug - does it work for you?

All sound / notification options are on... [Image: sad.gif]

Are you using the boss protection mode busy, a personalized status busy, or just a regular busy?

I have used both personalized and regular busy. Now I have installed mess patch (and the same thing occurs.... ) sign-out notification still ok.
