Since I suck at drawing and Photoshopping, I'm calling on the users of this forum to help me out with some images for Phoenix 2 and its website.
Basically, I'm looking for the following:

- Toast Image (181x116, titlebar no bigger than 30px, close button optional)
- Logo (anything up to, say, 250 square)
- Banner (for the site, 400-600 wide, 100-150 high)
- Buttons (for the site, typical button size, look at current site for text)

I'd prefer orange text on a maroon background, but other than that, experiment.

Also, if anyone wants to do a set of icons (16, 24, 32 sq), feel free. They won't be used in v2, but I'm hoping to find use for them at some point.

The creators of the chosen images will be credited

If this is more appropriate in GCC, Tech Talk, or even T&T, then feel free to move it

hmm first toast attempt

heres ma 1st attempt, im not quite sure wt kind of design you wanted but here you go..

zip contains the 3 diferent attempts and them all in one in an icon library....

did the logo and added a catchy (cheesy) slogan

Could do some other colors for the icon... i'll do something closer to the original colors.

k well i got 5 toasts now, all the same as this one but with other color of the icon.

i like the square and round ones! would it be possible for you to make them with the logo raceprouk said they look really good they are in the icon library attached, (with the others aswell..)


ill edit out what icons are wanted and what are not if raceprouk selects the necessary

got the icons in PNG, PSD (layers), and ICO (not transparent background )

just a little thing i have to say, i believe the second icon in the zip may73alliance uploaded would've been better since the logo you chose looks more like a dragon than some kind of bird... and i'm pretty sure a phoenix is a bird...

I have a T-shirt with a phoenix design, and that looks quite dragon-like.

The thing you've got to remember is that the phoenix is a mythical creature. Why can't it look a little dragon-like?

i like that but whats wrong with the standard toasts

I don't have the control I want over them (specifically displaying a toast confirming a Personalised Status that uses the regular Busy, which supresses the toast I want to show).

I prefer LJ's I'm afraid.

I'm actually not bothered if people haven't done that. The quality of what has come is pretty high.
After all, I left it up to people to decide colours.

I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions. I've decided to use may73alliance's logo and LJ's last toast design in Phoenix (don't worry: your names are in the About box).
However, I've changed tack slightly with the website (couldn't get anything like www.phoenix.net), so I'm gonna see what I can do, banner-wise.
