Current URL/Website by chrisrowe on 05-23-2005 at 02:33 PM

Hey all,
I freqently send links to my contacts, i have to copy from internet explorer / firefox address bar, tab to contact window, paste and then i lose whats on my clipboard!

Does anyone know of a plugin that makes this easier?

For example type /url would give a dropdown of current open websites and allow the user to simply select one which would automatically send as a message.

Hope im clear,
Please let me know if this is possible, if you would like this feature yourself or if anyone can make it, id love to try it!

Thanks in advance, Chris Rowe

P.S. plz dont forget firefox support if possible :P

FireFox support would have to be coded in a totally different way as it doesn't support the same methods as Internet Explorer.  I think an extension would have to be installed in FireFox to add firefox support to Current Websites

Either that, or just FindWindow() your way to the address bar :P

Well im sure that would be fairly simple. i know the basics of firefox extensions anyway.

Any chance of that source (yn) :P

Does this project still going on? I'd love to have this feature as well

Edit: The plus live script preferably. I just realize this is a plug-in thread.

LinkSaver might help, although it has no droping down menu *yet*, it does save links to a text file.

You can download it from the database following my signature link, but I would suggest you to wait for the 1.2 version, which I will send to the database as soon as I'm done cleaning up my code (tomorrow most probably)
