well id like to see a feature maybe in stuffplug ng or phoenix maybe if not in msgplus itself that disables emoticons (other than standard ones) being displayed in the convo window.
i just hate it wen u have big flashing 'S' or whatevers in the middle of words, it not only makes the conversation hard to read but it is also extremely annoying...
it would be great if it was just emoticons in the middle of words blocked e.g.:
h*big flashing 'e'*ya*big flashing exclamation mark* - blocked
heya! *smiley face emoticon - not standard* - not blocked

Tools --> Show Emoticons
Uncheck that then no emoticons will be shown. Is that what you want?

oh sorry i didnt see you want to keep standard emoticons, umm well what about
Tools ---> Options ---> Messages ---> Uncheck Show custom emoticons
That keeps standard emoticons but disables custom ones

Plus can already do this, without having to disable showing custom emoticons...

but won't this disable it for all conversations? what if you only want to disable this for one IMWindow, kinda like the Truncate Nicknames option....
