Ok the default xp style is a white grey etc. I've turned my computer on it's a bit green and i hate it i have no idea what's going on Please help me RE: Gone green by Mnjul on 06-09-2005 at 03:00 PM It appears absolutely normal here...perhaps your graphic adapter or your monitor has something wrong? RE: Gone green by absorbation on 06-09-2005 at 03:01 PM It's a pale green however when seen all the time gets very annoying i hate it after 5 minutes RE: Gone green by WDZ on 06-09-2005 at 03:04 PM I don't see any green in that screenshot. Firefox looks exactly the same on my PC. RE: Gone green by absorbation on 06-09-2005 at 03:08 PM Something with either my moniter or clour then, but what has changed RE: Gone green by Concord Dawn on 06-09-2005 at 03:25 PM

quote:Anything could be wrong, your graphics card could be damaged, a wire slightly broken, or a part in your monitor out of sync. This problem is very common with older monitors (about 10 years old) however it does happen with newer models, but afaik CRTs get this problem the worst. It sounds daft, but when that happened to someone I know they hit it, turned it off and back on and it worked. Post some information on your monitor and graphics card, just specs and models will do. Also the age and type of your monitor (CRT, TFT, LCD). RE: Gone green by Reaper on 06-09-2005 at 03:49 PM updating the drivers for your graphics card might help but im not too sure RE: Gone green by YottabyteWizard on 06-09-2005 at 04:14 PM It's always green, or after a certain time starts to happen? I think it's a wire problem.... do you connect/disconnect a lot your monitor? (The VGA cable), because it could be damaged. |
