contact cleaner by pvanwijngaarden on 06-14-2005 at 06:23 AM

First of all... I am sorry for my English but I am Dutch...

I am searching for a plug in for messenger plus to check which contacts in my list has deleted me in his / her list and to delete the contacts which I have deleted/blocked in my list. This way I can clean up my contact list.

I know there is a plug in somewhere to do this but I can;t find it anymore. Can someone help me??

Thanks!

Greetz Paul

Thanks!!!

When I run the programm I have another problem....

When I want to clean a list (in this case my block list) I don't see any contact. I see in the window the text "Showing 0 out of 2". I can not delete that list.... How can I change that???

I am sorry for my English another time......

You don't have to worry about your English mate it's fine, we still understand you. Anyway if you're having trouble with Norooms list manager then i know of a website which allows you to see who's deleted you. You can find it here.

I think I don't make my problem very clear...

I have blocked some people and deleted them from my contact list. When I see my blocked list in msn I see those names but I want to clean that list. It is not a very big problem but for me it is.

The people in my blocked list haven't blocked me.....

Do you know a way to clean this list and not get an invitation when I restart msn to allow those persons.....

don't attach programs like that when they have a complete website and download area where people can go for problems, have the latest news and versions, etc... ;)

simply unblock them. They will be put back in your allow list and thus will be able to contact you again...

Also note that to delete a person completely, thus also from your allow list, that other person has to delete you too!!! You can't fully delete someone from all your lists when that person has still you on his allow list...

Only when a person is fully deleted (thus not on your block list or allow list anymore), you'll get an invitation again when that person adds you again.

If the bottom text of the Clean List window in NoRoom's ListCleaner shows "0 out of 2", it means that 2 people are on your block list but that none of them have delete you, so you can't delete them from all your lists. This is the same in any other tool (including the online tool sn1p3r pointed to); it will always give you the same result and no tool can fix that as those contacts first need to delete you too. That's the way the MSN protocol works...
