Google Gone Bonkers? by rav0 on 07-08-2005 at 01:05 AM

I just ran a Google Search, and now all the links are tracked, like this:

quote:
http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=U&start=4&q=http://forums.whatpulse.org/member.php%3Fu%3D64436&e=9711

The new tracked links don't work, though!

quote:
Google Error

Server Error
The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.

Please try again in 30 seconds.

Is this only me?

It's just you.
Seems like something that would happen to someone using a dial-up connection. Maybe you should try getting broadband internet if you can.

Wow you really are computer illiterate aren't you... Its not because of having a specific internet connection. Google doesn't try and check what connection type you have and act differently based on that. It must just be a temporary server error. How did you actually get it. Did you just go to google and search for "http://forums.whatpulse.org/member.php%3Fu%3D64436&e=9711" or what?

you have google search history on , which formats the links so google can record your searches
http://www.google.com/searchhistory
because it formats my links like that too

but they seem to work for me

I searched rav0 to get that example.

I am not Using Google Search History, but I am using Google Suggest.

Regardless, Google tracks all its user clicks.

The links work now.
