Not the one on MSN Messenger though?

no, hotmail doesn't support pop3 so u can't check, unless u upgrade to premium

Well i just searched google and found a few.
One is at http://www.poptray.org/
and you need the hotmail plugin from http://www.poptray.org/plugins.php

just a general notifier, like the gmail one, but an MSN Hotmail one,

i've tried a different one that was somehow using hotmail pop3 but didn't work, i assumed that they were all like that

You just need one that checks web-based hotmail so pop3 isn't needed.
The second one i posted above is really good, i just tried it out and the popups work fine. Only problem is it is a 30-day trial.

yeah i tried it too, stupid trial though
ill have a search around anyways doesnt something like MSN Explorer support it? but is there a free version of it

well msn explorer comes with most windows xp [pro I believe] and it doesnt have a notfier and you must be logged in to msn to use it anyway
