Speaking of teletubbies I got one that’s worse. It's called BoohBah ( http://pbskids.org/boohbah/boohbah.html ). That show makes me sick. It's so demented I would say after about a week of watching it your IQ would go down by 10 ever day that you continued watching it. No wonder the kids today are so messed up (smaller kids). You let them watch TV like that and you end up with a veggie child *my opions only*.
Any who I still say Sesame Street owns all educational cartoons/TV shows for young kids. :P
RE: Childhood Television by YottabyteWizard on 07-28-2005 at 10:59 PM

EDIT: Also, Pink panter and Popeye the Sailorman

Also, Zap! was some good quality TV. And the orignal Power Rangers kicked ass until they changed it all :(
I still watch Art Attack because it just rocks.

where a group of people sit around a camp fire and then one tells a scary story?, because I think I remember watching that

Are You Afraid of the Dark? is a show based on a group of kids called "The Midnight Society". Members meet in a location in the woods and take turns telling their own spooky tales. The series aired on Nickelodeon in the United States as part of their SNICK line-up in 1992. It lasted for 5 seasons until it was cancelled in 1996.

Yes lol it HAS to come back lol , does anyone have any episodes/DVDS?

* Vazza hugs Chrono

Glad I found someone who agree. I'm not liking all these old shows being brought up to date and done in CGI (alright some get away with it (a) but the like of Captain Scarlet which was fab when it was the puppets has been ruined bringing in to CGI...Its just not the same anymore :(

Nothing beats the original Optimus Prime. I think by the end of the original series he had been brought to back from the dead more time than....anyone! I mean, why did he have to die in the orginal movie????Wondering what the new one will be like since its based on the pilot episodes of the Original series (I think it was Arrival From Cybertron Pt 1 + 2). And who can forget that famous quote:

Sonic X pwns too! You just have to watch the original unedited Japanese version, and the latest season, which is even better :P
RE: Childhood Television by Vazza on 09-08-2005 at 08:29 PM

The only reason I could give that very comprehensive list was because I had it on another site which asked the same thing.

And nah, the original will always be the best. Not this up to date crap

Another to add to the list  has to the Scottish crime drama Taggart. Was great when Mark MacManus played Jim Taggart but its still good nowadays. Almost got a part as an extra in their last episode

I used to watch dragon ball z ... but that was when i was 12 ...
You mean when i was even smaller .... i used to watch all the classics and they were my favorites :)

Bugs bunny, daffy (not so much lol) tom and jerry etc ;)

I even knew most of them byheart :$

Well i distinctly remember me and my friends talking about captain planet when we were in 1st grade. We liked the science i guess :-/

I even remember when i was asked a question in 4th grade about pollution and i said stuff about CFC (Choro Floro Carbons) the teacher was shocked cause children learn that in 7th - 8th grade :P
All the better for me to score more marks :P

Ahh .... those were the days :P simpler times :P

I also remember Sharky & George. Us South Africans had to listen to it in English on the Radio simulcast on Radio 2000, cause it was dubbed into an african language on TV.
