sound pack question by ntruax on 07-21-2005 at 08:20 PM

Can someone please tell me how you use the sound packs?  I have several installed and I know you can type /sound then the sound but is there another way to list them?  I can't find them in the plus menu.  Is there a way to bring up a list of what you have installed like there is for the "Built in sounds"?

Thanks a lot for the help.

In the main MSN Messenger window, go to "Plus! > Sound Library", that is where the sounds are listed.

You may have not imported the sound packs correctly, to import a sound pack, go to Plus! > Sound Library > Add New Sounds, and press "Import sounds from an existing soundpack"...

After that, in the main msn messenger window, press the audio icon, choose where you want to go in the dropdown box, and so on and so forth.

Thanks for the replies, but I still don't know how to play them without typing /sound then whatever sound I want???  Is there a way to click through them or anything in the chat window instead of having to type it in every time?  :|

Sorry for seeming lame but I can't figure it out :S

Well, if you didn't disable it, you can access all your sounds from the side bar in the chat window (the one with the Plus! icon and the sound icon). The keyboard shortcut to access this panel is CTRL+Q.
