I use the UD screensaver for cancer research, I have it set to only work when the screensaver is on...and also I have the Monitor set to automatically turn off, no sence in wasteing power.

:| i didnt know such a thing exists :| I just let my auto protect do its job. Tho i had a virus that would run everytime my pc is on and im away for 5 mins (in 2 mins the screen is off) :S I saw the autoprotect beeping when i came back and i pwned that virus ... :P
But that was odd O.o
I stopped using screensavers cause they used my ram :( and i had a slow pc with 128 ram. But in may i got 256 mb ram (in total) so i could have switched back but this is better ;)
With a slow pc i found ways to use get the most out of you pc :P

Hence the power off to save that much power cause afaik the screen consumes the maximum power :(

I just turn my moniter off when I leave the room.  I used to have a screensaver.  But when ever I played with a gamepad, the screensaver would come up and I would die....:@ 

EDIT:But I want to get one of the ipod ads as my screensaver:P

and ill stick to the stand by mode.....much easier, i dont really find the use of a screen saver, i mean, it had uses earlier..when the pixels tended to burn off if left on too looong, but things have changed!

I let mine go in to sleep mode.  Don't use screensavers....

I have an "advertisement" for AMD Athlon as my screensaver. Got it from a buddy...has this little "flubber-like" dude that tries multiple ways to break through your monitor screen...everything from machine guns to lasers to bouncing off of it (all of this has sound). Finally ends with him slinging the processor at the monitor, which breaks it. Lasts about 7 minutes or so...afterwards comp goes into stand-by, 20 minutes later hdd powers down and 20 minutes after THAT hibernates.

I don't use screensavers as I'm rarely away from the computer. :P

When I get a full (co) I'll turn off the monitor. For now, I'm stuck with the laptop... (Although closing the lid is supposed to turn off the monitor or something like that...)

I don't like screensavers...only times i use one is when i go outdoors for a couple hours, and then i use the "blank screen" one (i could turn of the monitor but as the switch on my monitor is kinda dodgy in turning it back on, i don't).

Mine is the 3D XP Screensaver

My screensaver is set to start after 5 minutes and my screen turns off after 3 minutes.

I was using that for a fair bit, but it confilcted with my drivers, so i removed it and got a screensaver from the longhorn transformation pack.
