I added a friend,(ie-Tyler)a while back, then made a specific group for him, lets call it group 1. I then for whatever reason, deleted him and the group he was in, but recently added him again, and made a new  groupfor him, Group 2.

I expected there to be a only the 2nd group with his contact in it. Instead I get this:

GROUP 1:
Tyler

GROUP 2:
Tyler

If i try and delete one of the emails, it delete both. But I dont need two, thats a waste of screen space. What do I do?

umm... You probably accidently copied him into the second group. You can have the same person in multiple groups. Right click on his name and go to "Group Options", then down to "remove contact from this group"... it should do the trick I think... And then after you have him outta the group you should be able to delete the group.
