Hello all,
I attempted to look elsewhere in the forums for something that describes this situation, but didn't find anything that seem to match it exactly, so my apologies in advance if this is a duplicate post.
Running: MSN Messenger 7.5.0160 (BETA)
MsgPlus! 3.54.132
Windows XP SP2
Understanding that I have installed one of the BETA releases of Messenger, and that the current MsgPlus! may not yet be fully compatible, I have noticed that no name changes appear to be logging in the events log window. The Event Log window acknowledges when a particular contact either signs in or out, but any name changes while online or offline goes unnoticed by the Events Log. I have attempted to reinstall the program (Plus!) and have reproduced the same results.
Again, though I do recognize that the potential for conflicts with the BETA release and Plus! are likely to exist, I've not had this issue with any previous BETA release and as such, this would seem odd to have this happen now.
Any assistance would be appreciated on this issue; it is one of my most valued features of Plus! and I want it back without having to return to existing non-BETA releases of Messenger.

It's a bug. Your only options are to wait for a new build of Plus (that may not come out until after the beta is over), switch back to a non-beta version, or just not use Plus. Sorry.

I checked the problem and confirmed it. Seems like Messenger 7.5 doesn't not send name change events to Messenger Plus! for some reason, I filled it as a bug.
