Since we're on the subject of plug-ins/Plus! features, how about creating something that distinguishes Plus! users from the other 'default' msn users? Like maybe making the users icon (on the main msn window 
) a different colour?

you can do this by typing
/ping
to them, however this is only if they have ping options enabled.
