Hi,
My e-mail account suddenly this morning told me my password was incorrect, which was news to me as I haven't changed it. Unfortunatly it seems as if someone else has. Is there any way I can get my account back, as I made it some 2 years ago and have not idea what my secret question is...
I have no idea why someone would change my password, and I swear I wasn't drunk

you have no idea what your secret question is? or what the answer is? you can find out what the question is by going to login and it should give you the link

Sorry, I ment the answer to said secret question.... Stupid thing to forget really.
I'm so annoyed at this, why change my password hotmail why???

are you sure caps lock or num lock isnt on?
An error in your sign in name?
An error in your password?
just check
you'd be surprised how many errors are from caps lock or small things like that

There are no errors in my sign in name, num and caps lock are off. I have tried another computer too and got into another account of mine. I'll just try again to make sure again....
Result the same the password I've always used is incorrect. (Because the sign in name is spelt right)

Tried both, and both are the same incorrect username or password.

You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect e-mail address or password, or someone else is trying to sign in to the account .
Sign in using another e-mail address
Reset your password
One to many times now

hm toughie, well as YA_MUM suggested above, you could email MS, however you'd need to be really specific about your MSN. I.E:
- Number of Contacts
- Emails of as many as you can remember
- Your display name
- Old Password
- Date last logged in
etc stuff like that. the more specific you are the more likely they can help you

I forgot it once and I just emailed them and they asked a few questions and I got it back. That was a while ago though, so they wouldn't have been as busy as they are today.
