Hey everyone,

As you may or may not know, my primary desktop has been dying for quite some time. I recently worked a very long, hard job to earn myself this brand new Gateway 6000GZ Series.

Specs:
Intel Pentium Celeron M Processor (1.4GhZ)
512MB RAM
60GB Hard Drive
Wireless Networking (802.11b/g)
DVD-ROM/CD-RW
USB 2.0/Firewire

++++++

Broadband: Plugged in, fired up, and it detected wireless network!

nope, didnt come with one. I bought it premanufactured.

congrats, although i do not like gateway's brand, this laptop is almost like mine except for the graphics which i got a 64 ATI .. ne ways, enjoy !

No, it's winter. But I have done that in the Summer. I'm glad he worked for it. Some people don't get off their arses and expect their parents to pay for everything. Dane worked for it and got what he wanted. And that says a lot in my books.

And yes, I did the same. I'm typing on this new computer because I worked for it. Ok diddums?

I also just got a new laptop. It's a dell inspiron 6000 with 1.73 pentium M, 60gb hard drive, 15.4" screen, 512mb ram, 4 x usb2.0, firewire, sd slot, lan ethernet, integrated wireless module and 56k modem.

would be about £1000 so more than 1000 dollars if you bought it from the u.k. iirc :'(

I got mine for less than £800 and it has similar specs, so you can, you just have to wait for special offers etc

Yep, it's a PackardBell E6310, it cost me 699 euros.
