I got a new cam and a mic but somehow my mic won't work.

Does anyone know how to get it working?

see if the cable to the mic port is attached properly...make sure the mic vol is not min

Also make sure you have the mic selected - eg, MSN Messenger's audio tuning wizard, make sure you choose the right mic.

well go to control panel > sound and audio setting >voice> test hardware, over there u make a test then u should hear ur self and talk.
if this works then it should work anywhere

I did that test and I don't hear myselve talk.

I tried the mic connector and the line-in connector, but they both don't work :(

EDIT: Got 3 mic inputs and only one works :S, got it working now :)
