Ever Done a Schoolwide News Broadcast? by Joe on 08-10-2005 at 06:27 PM

Can you all help me out... I need to know different things (actually everything) about how a school broadcasts their news to the entire school... If anyone with experience can help me, or someone whose school does this knows about this sort of thing... I'd appreciate help. (or if you're a good Googler)

Thanks...

jow

Well one easy method is by word of mouth, a headteacher tells every other teacher to tell pupils about some news. An assembly would be another way to do so.
However since this is in Tech Talk it could be IT project related, so I guess you'll want to know how to do it with tech.
Ok, you could print off letters for every pupil using a B&W laser printer with a fairly quick printing time. Another way would be a piped sound system, by either a WiFi or just a standard one, which uses speakers well placed to relay audio infomation from a single microphone.

My past two schools have broadcasted announcements over the TV.  I don't know anything about the epuiment though, sorry.  They would do it at the end of everyday and stuff like that.
