First question, is there a plugin to create moving nicknames?

Now. I dont know how to explain this but I'll try. I got this idea of making a moving nickname by the "What I'm Listening to" options. So here is it.

Create a few 3 seconds mp3s. Name the TAGs as follows:

g.mp3
g r.mp3
g r u.mp3
and so on until g r u n g e.mp3

So if i play it on winamp, repeating every mp3s in order, I should get a moving words on the "What I'm Listening to" part of my nick. Has anyone done that or has a better idea? Because other ppl wont see

g r u n g e

with 3 seconds delay but instead they will see

g r
g r u n
g r u n g e

with a 7 seconds delay on each nick.

yeah. Although I made 3 seconds mp3s for each nick,
Other people will see a delay of 7 seconds between each nick
and they can only see gr, grun, grunge,
Instead of the full g, gr, gru, grun, grung, grunge.
The 7 seconds delay made the moving nick look very unnoticeable. I dont know whether its my comp or my mp3s. Somebody else pls try out.

ps: to get 3 seconds mp3s, just download 80-90kb of the full mp3 then cancel it.

It's the connection. Each time you update your nickname, it gets sent to the server, then to your contacts. This will make your nickname be updated a couple of seconds later for your contacts (depends on your connection and their connection).

It's not a very reliable thing to make because of that. Also, there is a limit of updates per minute (in the nick).
