PS3 is way price-ier.

The reason the xbox 360 seems pricey at this point is just to be able to lower the price when the PS3 comes out at a later date. The 299 core model is a publicity stunt to allow them to say they are releasing it at 299. Only an idiot would by it

btw, the games are gonna cost like $70-$80
Thats less than what the current xbox games are now. So the prices are fine imo

That's like AU$550 for the premium Xbox... Totally not worth it when the PS2 is far superior.

Last i heard (while E3) Ps3 was gonna be released around end of 05 and xbox in the begining of 06 .... correct ??

Xbox 360 is gonna be released around the end of this year, 2005. Around November is the date I keep hearing.
PS3 is rumored to be released around the spring of 2006 which is when Halo 3 for X360 is going to be released. Apparently, Gates thinks that's a good idea.

im not gettin an Xbox 360. I knowits gonna be expensive buut im gettin the PS3 its tiwce as powerful as the Xbox 360.
Plus the new Metal Gear Solid 4, GTA, and devil may cry 4 are gona be on the PS3 first

I think you'll find that Microsoft have yet to release the true price of the XBOX 360, and most of the prices that are going around are merely guesses of what people think it is going to cost. I say we wait until it is officially release at X05 or whatever.
