im adding subtitles to a film using VirtualDub and TextSub. everytime i add the subtitles to the movie and preview the output the audio is out of sync with the picture but the subtitles are in sync with the picture RE: Audio and picture on my movie by rix on 08-22-2005 at 10:15 PM Is audio out of sync when you watch it via BSPlayer or any other player? Have you tryed to finish it? I mean, Is the result same, as preview? And also, which codecs you use? RE: Audio and picture on my movie by Reaper on 08-22-2005 at 10:28 PM
the result is the same as the preview. i used quicktime, the player in virtualdub and windows media player RE: Audio and picture on my movie by multimillion2k on 08-22-2005 at 10:42 PM I always ran into trouble with virtualdub when the audio was VBR - Go to Audio -> Interleaving -> Audio skew correction and mess around with values (usually anywhere between 350-1500) and see if it changes anything. yeh that would work thanks. but theres another bit i forgot to mention RE: Audio and picture on my movie by multimillion2k on 08-22-2005 at 11:23 PM
I would guess that you have a corrupt frame in your movie - what happens is that basically all the frames after that are also read as corrupt until the next keyframe. RE: Audio and picture on my movie by Reaper on 08-22-2005 at 11:39 PM
the movies in Thai so i guess i do . i checked the frames for errors in virtualdub and it said there wasnt any RE: Audio and picture on my movie by multimillion2k on 08-23-2005 at 12:39 AM
I won't go into an explanation of VBR (variable bit rate, as opposed to CBR - constant bit rate), although it could be an issue it doesn't seem like that is the case here - it doesn't explain the video pausing.. RE: Audio and picture on my movie by CookieRevised on 08-23-2005 at 12:56 AM
This has already been asked not so long ago (if I'm not mistaken also by you).... The only difference is your current questioning. |
