Just remember to set your windows share to low or off cause its also possible(like in a real network) to explore ones shared folders i'm behind a router and it works without having to change any setting so try it.. it onws (playing unreal tournament 2004 on 'lan') EDIT: Network: msgplus pass: test RE: Lanning over the Internet by Fergy on 08-23-2005 at 06:23 PM this program looks pretty good, but i need to find someone to test it with. RE: Lanning over the Internet by Lieter on 08-24-2005 at 09:33 AM thats a windows file share thingy.... he has to use the same name and pass for his computer as he has on your computer(he needs an account on each computer) RE: Lanning over the Internet by Underlord on 08-24-2005 at 11:23 AM
quote:It could be faster because it's running peer-to-peer and only two players instead of many more players over a third party server, but it wouldn't be substantially faster. RE: Lanning over the Internet by ShawnZ on 08-24-2005 at 01:29 PM
quote: If simple file sharing is ON, then you just need to make sure the guest account is enabled and has no password. If it is OFF, you must create a user with the exact same username and password on both computers RE: Lanning over the Internet by albert on 08-24-2005 at 02:18 PM
