MSN Crashing on open - Printable Version

Well, it seems that since i have updated to MSN Messenger 7.5, i cant open the main window. I can run MSN, the icon appears in the corner, i can right click, i can click on the options, but when i try and open the main window, it crashes.
Yes i have done a clean install. No i havn't patched it. Any suggestions?

mine is the same i sadly unnistalled msgplus! and now works

It may just be the fact that it's still in beta stage, and you're really not meant to have it unless you are an official beta tester.

i had stuffplug yeah, and Fergy 7.5 it is now a public beta

7.5 is out FINAL Now, try reinstalling 7.5 an just disable stuffplug,

What verions of Plus! and 7.5 are you using? are you using one of the betas of 7.5? If so, the final was released today, you can get it here
Try the Official release (if you havn't already got it), see if your problem goes away...if it doesn't, post back

TB will have Stuffplug3.0 out in a month or so , keep checking the stuffpluf webpage for more info on it , but least u got 7.5 working without crashes.

I have the same problem, even with the final... will try to remove stuffplug, but Messenger crashes before logging in even if I close msgplus.exe

Hey Everyone,
I Had Problems Too. Before I Signed In, I Disabled Custom Contact Names In Messenger Plus And It Worked. Then I Enabled Them Again When I Had Signed In.

This is strange, MSN MEssenger 7.5 is working fine for me. I have MessengerPlus! as well as StuffPlug also installed on this machine. I'm also one of the official MSN Messenger Beta testers, and have never had this problem in any of the Messenger 7.5 Beta builds released to us.
