Well, I guess nothing better had to come than a day off, Katrina is coming for Montreal, for more information: http://theweathernetwork.ca/weather/alerts/qbc_avr.htm
Anyways, that's about it, as far as I know, Fraisie/Patchou, wacky and me live in Montreal.
Blah, it feels so weird, and before about 5 minutes the electricity was cut for some seconds.

Yeah, I woke up today at 12 PM, when we missed electricity for a few seconds, everything started, so it was a bit sound-ish.

It's not even a tropical storm still is it? I think it's been downgraded to just a storm. Getting any wind outa it? We got a crap load of it down here in Tennessee. It was still a cat 2 hurricane when it hit here.

Katrina supposedly hit Toronto last night and today.. and we got almost no rain where i am. Its ridiculous cus all the weather networks wer calling for thunderstorms all bloody day and then i walk outside and ist sunny and hot out. Not to mention the place where i work lost tons of money cus almost no one came today because of the weather reports. Katrina is dead, shes done her damage.

When hurricane season starts, they name them starting with the letter "A." So Katrina is the 11th one this season. They're not uncommon, but it's rare that they do this much damage on the land.

this is actualy reported to be the worst hurricane ever recored
the only thing we got, was along but normal/light rain this morning, and justnore some stronger winds, but only enough to make the trees noiey in the night

Yeah, a lot of the storms aren't even worth mentioning to people, if you check out http://www.weather.com/newscenter/tropical/archiveatlantic.html, you can see which storms and depressions we've had this year. Most of them just stay off the land.

New Orleans has been declared a disaster area, and a health disaster. There are so many people in there addicts that are traped and have no were to go. I saw a report on CNN that the people rescuing people are slamming in roofs of houses to see if people are in them.
