mycode messenger by Mentality on 09-02-2005 at 12:22 PM

I was wondering if there was a way that mycode could work in messenger so that if i typed the picture would be shown in the messenger chat log.

I personally think this might be a good idea if it is possible. if it's not then nvm.

i think there was an auto talker for stuffplug ng that made text bold etc.... not sure about the image thing...

could anyone make a plugin that makes mycode work in msn messenger? or html even! (well.. only <b> and simple text formatting ones because of security..?

It has been stated several times (this you can find out by using the long-forgotten "search" feature of the forums).

It's not possible to do. Plus! already formats text, why would you want something like that?

If you want to add pictures, use StuffPlug (oversized emoticons) and you can send images that way (both parties need StuffPlug, of course).

what about without pictures... like for bold etc... its easier to type [b] because you dont need to switch from keyboard to mouse to make it bold then carry on typing again..

?_? All you need to do is to press ctrl+b, ctrl+k, etc.

I suppose a plugin where you constantly had to type its command would do?

Otherwise it's something a more advanced plug-in maker should try. But I doubt it, since it's pointless. :P

You have MsgPlus! to do all the formatting. Bold, italics, etc. You can do that with mouse or keyboard.

Nope. It's Ctrl+T :P

Ctrl+R for a small formatting panel where you can find all formatting tags.

Ctrl+BThis text is boldCtrl+B

Nope - it's Ctrl+T. Ctrl+I does a tab indent.

Perhaps you would find:

http://www.msgplus.net/help_tutorials.php?tut=keyboard

Which Plus! keyboard controls can I use during a conversation tutorial.

And no mycode would not work on MSN.

Not unless you set up some word filters ;)

Word Filters don't work to parse the mycode commands

because they dont support regular expressions

just thought you dont need regexp at all, just replace for example:
and with the plus! bold symbol (same symbol to open and close)

etc...

i used to have the stuffplug talker but thats on my old pc which i cbf getting set up just for a talker, someone is bound to still have it
