Can't Install KSMAS by prashker on 09-09-2005 at 09:58 PM
Hi, I got KSMAS RC3 and i uploaded the setup.php file onto my site and i entered my pass and stuff but when i wana go to step 3 it give me this error
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, wwwadmin@louhabs.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
What is that??? How i fix????

upload all files you downloaded (in a zip or a rar folder) not just the setup.php maybe that will solve the problem.

well in the KeyStorm post it was only the setup file.

Anyway: create a folder, ChMod it to 0777 or 777, place the setup file there, run the script from your browser.
If it doesn't work yet, it is incompatible with your server configuration and you'll have to wait until CBC is released.

Forget it, you only need the setup.php.
KSMAS is known not to work with certain hostings. For this reason the development was stopped and a new concept is being coded from scratch. It will be soon available for public alpha to a selected group of users.

Ok thanks for that. Will wait. Any aprox date for Public Release/Beta/Alpha/Gamma(such thing ???)

As soon as it's ready.
I can't really tell, Alpha status is going to be soon. However much of the plugins framework is to be built yet. Once it is done, I'll put the alpha on a server and will debug and make the Aleathoria plugin on top of it, which wll include all functions of KSMAS.
(Actually CBC is a framework / operating system for such prlugins. Which means that using plugins you can extend CBC to do anything related to images, which also includes any kind of dynamic signatures. Hence CBC is quite a challenge for coding and takes a lot of time and patience)
