i was using MSN messenger 7.5.0255 and then suddenly it shut off, and wouldn't let me sign back in, but lou said that he had to update to get it to work, anybody else have this problem

i can't belive microsoft would do this

I have sent them an email because I do not accept this stupidity. They have no right to kick us off without letting us update it, and without telling us what is going off. I was able to fix it, only by updating it, I hope it is fully plus compatible and I want my patches!

I just got disconnected using the latest version before todays release. I just kept retrying and after about 10 tries it signed in. So its all fine at the moment and im not using the updated version.

I tried 20 times without success. I kept getting a window saying troubleshooting or a window saying that their service is down.

What I am thinking, is they found a way to block the patches like apatch.

I've been unable to connect from 8pm to 0:30am (GMT+2), but I'm back online now...

And I don't think it has anything to do with any patch or addon or whatever. I tried with plus! closed, reinstalled v7.0, v7.5, blah blah blah, no success :)

Only patience pays hu..

I really doubt that. How could they know if apatch or any other patch has been used? I say just be patient. If there's a problem with it, just wait and you should be able to sign in again soon.

turns out over 10 of my contacts where kicked too...and none of them even know wut apatch and mess patch are. I want my patches:(

ive been on all day... contacts on all day... like normal... alls fine here :S

i have found i sometimes get a troubleshooting error... i restarted msn completely (you know... from system tray etc) and open it again and then it logs in fine... dunno why that happens though
